Challenge #288-#289 - Anything Goes

Welcome by, everyone!  We're so happy you've stopped by to play along with us.  We have a lot of fun prepared for you with THREE lucky winners, our FABULOUS sponsor Simon Says Stamp, a free digital scripture file, a brief devotional, lots of great inspiration, and a Design Team that looks forward to visiting your blogs to say hello.

We have a beautiful scripture for our word art from Jeremiah 31:3 that tells us "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, "yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn thee".  The term "appeared of old unto me" isn't necessarily talking about time (of old), but rather, is referring to distance.  You see, it simply doesn't matter where we are physically....like Jonah in the belly of a great fish, or like those lost in the wilderness, or a prisoner of war in an unknown place....NOTHING can separate us from the love and comfort of God.  He always knows where we are, He hears our cries, and no matter how far away one might be (or feel), He always hears our cries and draws near to comfort us with His lovingkindness.  What a joy to know that no distance, no amount of miles or time, no person, NOTHING can separate us from His great love.  This world can be difficult, but in the end...ALL that matters is our relationship with Him.  What a blessing, comfort, privilege and joy it is to be "drawn to Him" and to receive His unspeakable gifts of comfort, rest, peace, and eternal life with Him in paradise.  Have you called on Him yet?  Eternity is real, and we WILL spend it somewhere.

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
